Enhance your Put-in-Bay Photography Skills at the Road Scholar Program Offered on Put-in-Bay, Ohio Island. Want to improve your photography skills? Enroll today for the Road Scholar Photography program – Photographing the Splendor of the Lake Erie Islands . Tim Daniel and Nina Harfmann, both noted professional photographers and naturalists – will provide an outstanding photography learning experience appealing to young and old alike.
You will capture the beauty of nature and sites of historical and cultural significance, review use of the “creative triangle,” aperture, ISO, and shutter speed, learn principles of composition, how to read and assess the quality of light and explore more advanced photographic applications such as HDR (High Dynamic Range) and macro photography, as well as develop your aesthetic in classroom workshops, on-location instruction, and post-camera techniques.
The Put-in-Bay Photography Program is designed for all skill levels – from novice to advanced. The program offers something for everyone, and many of the participants from last year said it was the best photography program they have ever experienced. The Package Price includes Put-in-Bay Lodging at one of three resorts, including the island’s top-ranked Put-in-Bay Resort, four lunches, and five dinners – most meals served at The Crew’s Nest.
