Cooper’s Woods Update
It was hoped that the sale of Cooper’s Woods from the DeRivera Park Trust to the Lake Erie Islands Conservancy would have been completed by the end of the year. That didn’t happen, but the purchase contract has been modified with a new closing date at the end of March. If you have time, visit Cooper’s Woods. As part of the requirements for one of the grants, all cans, bottles, and other garbage must be removed from the Woods. Send the Conservancy photos of your work to leiconservancy@gmail.com if you do go out and help with this effort!
