Miller Ferry Service To Start 2019 Season
Miller Ferry Service will resume to Put-in-Bay for the 2019 Season on March 19th, according to ferry boat officials. Running on a limited schedule, the boat line is expected to begin bringing visitors & supplies to the island for the upcoming season. The Miller Ferry Schedule departs from Catawba Island near Port Clinton and arrives at South Bass Island approximately 18 minutes later. Put-in-Bay Hotels & Resorts opened the first weekend in April.
Travelers are advised to check with individual businesses if they are coming for a specific reason, as some are weather permitting and schedules are at the discretion of the business owners. Put-in-Bay Golf Cart Rental Reservations open Friday, April 5th, and should be reserved online with an estimated arrival time indicated.
April Events & Information
April hosts several Put-in-Bay Events, including the Put-in-Bay Pajama Party and the Toledo Yacht Club weekend! April is an ideal month for those who cannot stay the required 2-night minimum on Summer weekends. The annual Official Put-in-Bay Spring Fling is just around the corner, the first weekend in May, and is again at the Put-in-Bay Resort, the new downtown convenient location. The Put-in-Bay Resort’s famous Blue Marlin Bar & Grill pool and swim-up bar, always the first to open and last to close, is expected to open the third weekend in April.
The Roundhouse Bar will kick off the season with the traditional Whisky Light Celebration on Sunday, April 14th. This fun-filled annual tradition marks the beginning of the upcoming season, with friends and tourists gathering for the first time this season with drinks and live entertainment. Miller Ferry Service to Middle Bass Island is expected to begin on Friday, March 29th. Schedules should be updated in the near future. Updates to both will be posted as received.
