Miami Vice Boat Visits Put-in-Bay
For 5 great seasons, The Miami Vice Boat along with Don Johnson as James “Sonny” Crockett and Phillip Michael James as Ricardo “Rico” Tubbs entertained millions of Americans.
The Miami Vice Boat visited Put-in-Bay and captured some great photos and video of Lake Erie. Million of Americans were entertained with the speeds and daring stunts performed on the Wellcraft Scarab, at the time, one of the leading powerboats of its time.
The Miami Vice Show was known for its New Wave culture and became noted for its integration of rock and contemporary pop music along with stylized visuals. It has been named one of the “Top 50 TV Shows” of all time.
