Little Island Prepares For 10000+ At Upcoming Rascal Flatts Put-in-Bay Concert.
August 30th the sleepy Lake Erie Island Airport will be transformed into one of Country Musics’ unique concert venues as the 2nd annual Bash On The Bay music festival returns featuring popular country music bands, including Rascal Flatts as the headliner. Put-in-Bay, a well-known island three miles of the northern shore of Ohio attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors annually. Last Years Inaugural Bash On The Bay featured singer-songwriter Toby Keith and was a huge success.
After closing the local airport, the massive production commences as over two dozen semi-trucks of staging and sound, and light equipment make their way across Lake Erie via ferry boat to begin setting up for the Put-in-Bay Concert. Followed closely behind are food trucks, portable toilets, fencing, and a massive off island contingency of security personnel and area law enforcement officials to provide security for the event.
Put-in-Bay Concert Begins Thursday, August 30th at 3:30 PM and Includes Several Well Known Acts
Gates will open at 3:00 PM for the all-day event, and entertainment will begin at 3:30 with Chirs Lane, The Corey Farley Band, Paulina Jayne, Joe Nichols, and the Grammy Award Winning country band Rascal Flatts. Lawn Chairs will be permitted in section B. However, they will not be allowed in the VIP section A. A wide variety of food & beverage outlets will provide for concertgoers. No outside food or beverage will be permitted inside the event and once you have entered the concert grounds there is no re-entry.

Put-in-Bay Ferry Service will be operating a later-than-normal schedule to accommodate those coming to and from the concert. Ample parking on the mainland side is available.
There will be ample golf cart parking at the concert venue and golf cart rental agencies are expected to sell out of carts. For those using golf carts to get to and from the event, reservations are suggested and may be made at Put-in-Bay Golf Carts
