Pooch Parade Returns In 2023

The annual Put-in-Bay Pooch Parade will be held on June 10th in DeRivera Park in downtown Put-in-Bay. The pooch parade is open to the public, with registration taking place in the park Gazebo at 9:30 am. The parade of pooches led by the children will begin at 10:00 am with the judging to commence immediately thereafter. Bring Fido along for his own little Put-in-Bay Adventure! There is a nominal $15 entry fee which includes a doggie goodie bag and five raffle ticket chances to win prizes!

Is your dog the cutest? Fastest? Smallest? Largest? Perhaps your dog looks like you or is the best dressed! The Judges will be awarding prizes in these categories and more!

This fun family event can be enjoyed s a day trip (the Put-in-Bay Ferry permits pets) or as an overnight vacation getaway at the Bay Lodging Resort, the island’s only Pet-Friendly Resort.

Pooch Parade Registration

There is no better feeling than bringing your fur baby along for a little adventure. Join us for our annual Put-in-Bay Ohio Pooch Parade. Registration begins at 9:30 am at the DeRivera Park gazebo, and this long-standing island event promptly starts at 10:00 am. Your dog can enter the parade for a nominal $20 entry fee. Registration includes a doggie goodie bag, and you can compete for prizes as well. Looking for a way to show everyone that your dog is the best? We are sure your pup will find a way into the judge’s hearts through a number of categories. The event’s main sponsor is the Mother Of Sorrows Church located at Put-in-Bay

Judges will evaluate and determine the cutest, smallest, largest, most talented, individual best dressed, group best dressed, and the dog that looks most like its owner. Great family fun is around the corner and wouldn’t be possible without the event’s main sponsor, Mother of Sorrows church. One more thing, No Cats are allowed! You’ll have to leave your feline friends home until next time. This is strictly enforced.
