From the South Bass Island State Park to the various nature preserves and parks there is always a new landscape waiting to be discovered. Many have picnic areas along with seating to enjoy the view such as DiRivera park in the center of town!
Many of our fine Put-in-Bay Restaurants offer their menus for carryout and there is always the island’s favorite Put-in-Bay Pizza Company ready to deliver pizzas, Grinders, Salads, and their daily specials wherever you may be on South Bass Island. One favorite outdoor dining spot is poolside at the Put-in-Bay Resorts Blue Marlin Pool Bar. Perry’s Interanion Peace Memorial has expansive grounds with a well-manicured lawn and hundreds of feet of seawall offering a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a sandwich and a view.
