Despite being located close to the town, the inn was far enough away from the hustle and bustle, providing us with a perfect escape.
One of the things that impressed us the most was the cleanliness and quietness of the inn. We could relax in a tranquil atmosphere and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was served promptly at 9 am as promised, and it was a delicious start to our day. The surprise I had planned for my wife turned out to be a huge success, and she is already asking when we can go back to the Arbor Inn Bed and Breakfast. We both agreed that it was a perfect place for a romantic getaway, and we felt completely at ease during our stay. During our recent trip to Put-in-Bay for a special event, my wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Arbor Inn Bed and Breakfast for two nights. It is without a doubt one of the nicest inns we have had the pleasure of staying in. The property is located in a serene setting away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, which we found to be a welcome respite.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Susan who made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Our room was perfect for our needs and, as we later discovered, immaculately clean. Susan informed us that coffee would be available at 7:30 am. However, if we were up earlier, we were welcome to start the coffee maker ourselves.

The breakfasts were a real highlight of our stay. Susan and her team prepared a quiche one morning and a baked French toast the next, which were both absolutely delicious. We were impressed by the attention to detail and the care that went into the presentation of the table each morning. The table was set the night before, and we were left wondering when Susan had found the time to accomplish this feat.

Throughout our stay, both Susan and Mike were excellent hosts. They were always available when we needed them but gave us plenty of space to relax and enjoy the property at our own pace. We spent several hours on the porch just taking in the serene surroundings, and it was truly a highlight of our trip. We highly recommend the Arbor Inn Bed and Breakfast for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of downtown Put-in-Bay. The Arbor Inn provides bicycles for guests to borrow and golf carts to rent. I spent a delightful afternoon lounging on the porch, reading a book, and watching squirrels while listening to the soothing sound of the little fountain in the yard. We rented a golf cart from the inn, which was more affordable than renting elsewhere and allowed us to explore the rest of the island with ease. The rooms were impeccably clean and extremely comfortable, while the front porch was the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The breakfasts were delicious, and we enjoyed learning about the inn's history, how Mike and Susan met, and what it's like to live on the island year-round. After 30 years of visiting Put In Bay, we were delighted to experience it in a whole new way thanks to the delightful Arbor Inn B&B. We can't wait to come back next year.
