Wedding Weekend:

I have been a loyal guest at Ahoy Inn for several years now, and every time I have visited, I have been impressed with the immaculate rooms. However, I am writing this review to express my gratitude for the exceptional hospitality provided by the owner, Nick, in the past few years. On one occasion, when my wife and I lost our key at 1 am, Nick came to our rescue and let us in with a smile. He always goes the extra mile to ensure that we have the best rooms available during our stay. During our recent visit, Nick even moved a midsize refrigerator into our room in addition to the room refrigerator. Moreover, Nick sponsored us at The Put in Bay Yacht Club for our wedding reception last Thursday. It was an unforgettable experience, and we are grateful to him for his generosity and support. We look forward to staying at Ahoy Inn again soon, and we cannot thank Nick enough for everything he has done for us. Thank you, Nick!

The Outside of ahoy inn guest house put in bay is painted in a charming light yellow color that resembles a cottage. The check-in process was quick, taking only two minutes, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was not large, but it certainly was not small either. The king-size bed was very comfortable and the room was equipped with a small refrigerator and two nightstands. Additionally, there was a large six-drawer dresser and an over-the-bed ceiling fan. The bathroom was spacious, and the stand-up shower stall was very clean, with a hairdryer provided. Although there was a small coffee pot in the room, we did not use it. Unfortunately, there was no in-room safe, but this did not pose a significant issue.

Ahoy Inn rents golf carts to their guests for $50 from 9 am to 9 pm. I strongly suggest renting a cart, as there is much to see and do on the island, and walking everywhere is not practical. While there are few cars on the island, golf carts, electric scooters, and mopeds are everywhere. Although there were some families with young children, this scene is more tailored to adults. I always felt safe, and I would certainly return in the future.

Our recent visit to Put-In-Bay was a success, all thanks to the Ahoy Inn! Although I had initial doubts about a guest house instead of put-in-bay hotels, I can confidently say that I would recommend this place to anyone. The Ahoy Inn caters exclusively to couples, which was a big plus for us. We stayed on a Sunday night, which was much quieter than the weekend. Our room, the English Room, was on the first floor and adorned with London-themed decorations. While we didn't have any issues, you may prefer a second floor room or one of the outbuildings for added privacy. We felt right at home, and the location was unbeatable - just steps away from the main strip, so we walked or biked everywhere. Complimentary bikes were provided, and golf carts were available for rent as well. Our room was fully equipped and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already planning to return in the fall. Don't hesitate to give this place a try - you won't be disappointed!

Our stay at Ahoy Inn was absolutely delightful! Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our golf cart was ready for us to use for the entire day until 9:00 PM. The room was lovely with a comfortable king size bed and it was spotlessly clean. Unfortunately, I left my bag and purse, which also had my phone in it, in an island cab on the way back to Port Clinton. I only realized my mistake once I had reached there. The ticket office contacted the Ahoy Inn on my behalf, and even though the owner informed us that the items were not found on the porch, he promptly called the cab company and they had indeed found my belongings. The owner went above and beyond by personally coming to Port Clinton to deliver my lost items, saving me from making another trip to Put-In-Bay. We were touched by the owner's thoughtfulness and willingness to help us out. We highly recommend ahoy inn guesthouse put in bay for a comfortable stay with exceptional service!

We were delighted to find that it was just a short walk away from several bars and restaurants, and just a few blocks from the bustling downtown area. Despite being close to all the action, it was peaceful and quiet at night, allowing us to get some well-deserved rest. Although breakfast is technically included, it was only a pre-packaged muffin, so we opted to try out one of the many fantastic breakfast places nearby. Renting one of the hotel's golf carts was convenient, but we discovered a rental place a few buildings down that offered carts with more power for the same price and allowed us to keep the cart overnight if we desired. We couldn't have asked for a better choice, and we'll certainly be returning to this hotel when we visit again!

The Ahoy Inn was a great find for us! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a charming porch with comfortable chairs, and we were happy to find out that our room came with convenient parking right outside the door, complete with a table and umbrella. We were also excited to see that the inn provided bicycles for our use during our stay. Our room was spotless and came with a private bathroom, as well as access to a communal kitchen equipped with a microwave that was shared by two other rooms. Additionally, there was a fridge in our room for our convenience. The location put in bay ahoy inn was fantastic - just a block away from all the restaurants, parks, and boat docks. We could easily walk to everything we wanted to see and do. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The nightly rate was quite reasonable, and we appreciated that it was a newly constructed property, which meant that everything was clean and up-to-date. The location was ideal, with a short walk to downtown, making it a peaceful place to stay, yet still convenient for accessing everything. We rented a golf cart from Ahoy Inn and had a fantastic day exploring. The building where we stayed had three rooms and a shared kitchen area, which would be perfect if you were traveling with others but wanted individual rooms that were in close proximity. Our room was equipped with a coffee maker and a small fridge, and there were also complimentary bicycles available, though we did not have the opportunity to use them.
